Shoot a product photo

A board, not a wizard. Plan the shot in words before you pay to render it.

Product Studio behaves differently from everything else. Elsewhere a production starts, finishes and is done. Here you get a board you keep working: shots accumulate, you compare them, mask one, crop another, and use a good one as the reference for the next.

  1. 1
Add a photo of your actual product

Almost every action refuses until you do. This is not generic image generation; it builds scenes around a real object, so it needs to see the object.

  2. 2
Describe a photograph, not a product

It already knows what your product looks like. What it needs is everything around it: the surface, the light, the angle, the mood, what else is in frame.

  3. 3
Press Plan it, and read the sayback

It answers with its understanding in plain words plus an editable spec. Nothing is generated and nothing is charged. A misunderstanding caught here costs you a sentence instead of a render.

  4. 4
Pick a quality tier and render

Fastest for exploring, highest for the shot you will actually use. You are charged per image kept; a discarded generation is not billed.

  5. 5
    Work the board

Mask, crop, add text, compare. Once one shot is right, build from it with Style reference rather than describing the same thing again.

A weak brief and a real one

  • Weak: our moisturiser. That gives it nothing to work with.
  • Real: three-quarter view on wet slate, hard side light from the left, water beading on the surface, deep shadow behind.
If every attempt looks the same, you are changing adjectives rather than the scene, the angle or the light. Those three move the image. Premium and beautiful do not.
